Talking some FOOTBALL....
Trying to predict the NFL on a year-to-year basis is a fool’s paradise because, for the most part, nobody really knows anything until the teams actually get on the field and have at least five or six games on their resume. Even then nobody really knows anything on a week-to-week basis, or once the playoffs start. It is all just complete and utter chaos every single week and season.
Somebody is going to surprise and be better than you expect, somebody is going to disappoint and be worse than you expect, injuries can change everything, and the league itself is just simply set up for parity and significant changes from one year to the next. Any given Sunday absolutely applies here. Everybody is good.
Still, I am going to be an idiot and try to make some predictions and share some thoughts on the 2022 NFL season, which kicks off on Thursday night with the Los Angeles Rams (the defending Super Bowl Champions) and the Buffalo Bills (one of the odds on favorites to win the Super Bowl this season).
Spoiler alert: I do not like either one of them to win the Super Bowl this season.
