The Steelers defense might be disappointing, but offense is still the biggest issue(s)
It is bad, man.
These are facts as far as I am concerned.
The Pittsburgh Steelers defense should have high expectations this season given the star power on that side of the ball, the financial investment they have in them, and the fact defense is their ticket to winning.
The defense without T.J. Watt has mostly been ordinary, especially when it comes to splash plays, forcing turnovers, and sacking the quarterback.
The defense got ripped apart in the running game in Cleveland in their 29-17 loss and needed to be better.
All facts.
Also facts: The defense is not why the Steelers have lost each of the past two games, it is not the reason they Steelers are 1-2 on the season, and it is not the reason the season is now teetering on the edge of oblivion with an absolutely brutal schedule sitting in front of them.
All of that still rests on an offense that still has not scored 20 points in a game this season.
