Matt Canada and Mitch Trubisky are not the answer
We have seen enough....
It is generally never a good idea to speak in absolutes when it comes to sports.
Not early in a game. Not early in a season. Not ever. Sports can be so unpredictable and change so suddenly that there is a good chance you end up making yourself look like a total dumbass by being laughably wrong. If you follow me on Twitter, you know that I know all about that.
But I am still going to speak in absolutes here after another minor league showing by the Pittsburgh Steelers offense in a 17-14 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday afternoon.
Matt Canada’s shit will not work in the NFL.
Mitch Trubisky is not going to be the answer for anything with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The second statement is not really all that surprising to anybody because nobody should have ever expected him to be. He is a stop-gap. A placeholder. He is the guy to hold down the fort between Ben Roethlisberger and whatever quarterback the Steelers would end up choosing in the draft to be the real long-term answer (it turned out to be Kenny Pickett).
When it comes to the first statement: I have seen enough. Well. I have seen enough on both.
