What a brutal weekend for the Pittsburgh Pirates....

This was not a good weekend for the Pittsburgh Pirates. The season has been circling the drain for a few months now in embarrassing fashion and it was always going to get worse. Not only because the team is lousy and traded away two productive major leaguers at the trade deadline, but because the remaining schedule over the final two months has been a never-ending run of playoff contenders.

This weekend it was the Toronto Blue Jays in town, so let’s check in with how THAT went.
