Let's talk about Ke'Bryan Hayes
There should be some concern here.
The Pittsburgh Pirates have a lot of problems.
A lot.
The offense is completely punchless. They are almost certainly going trade one of the two useful starting pitchers on the roster before the week is over. The bullpen is the baseball equivalent of throwing a can of gasoline onto a camp fire.
Naturally, that sort of roster has produced one of the worst records in baseball (again) and there appears to be no end in sight.
I am not ready to include third basemen Ke’Bryan Hayes into the “problem” category, but I do have some concerns for what his ceiling is and what that means for the Pirates’ short/mid-term chances.
Let us dig into it a little bit.
