The NHL offseason moves along pretty rapidly, and with the 2023 draft already in the rearview mirror and the first day of free agency already in the books the heavy lifting as far as player movement is concerned is already mostly finished. Which is pretty wild to say given that it just started.
There are still some big potential moves to be made (Erik Karlssoon, Alex DeBrincat, maybe the Winnipeg Jets do some more things) but most of the big names have already found their new home.
So let’s get into some thoughts on what has happened so far.
